Chatham County Planning Board to Consider WIP Conditional Rezoning District Application on February 6
Posted: 1/30/24On November 2, 2023, the Western Intake Partners (WIP) submitted a Conditional Rezoning District Application to Chatham County's Planning Department requesting to rezone the designated site for the Regional Water Treatment Facility as Conditional District-Light Industrial, aligning with its intended purpose. Chatham County thoroughly reviewed the application and confirmed its completeness and sufficiency. A public hearing on the proposed rezoning was held on January 16, 2024, during the Chatham County Board of Commissioners meeting.
Chatham County’s Planning Board will consider the Conditional Rezoning District Application submitted by the Western Intake Partners at its February 6, 2024, meeting, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Chatham County Agricultural & Conference Center. The Planning Board may elect to discuss the project at three consecutive monthly meetings before taking action on the application.
